Multicultural Musician and Educator Joseph Peck Provides Music for Seniors
Bring the sound and history of the steel drum to your assisted living center, nursing home, or retirement community with a presentation by Joseph Peck. Joseph holds a State of California Music Teaching Credential K-12 and works throughout Southern California performing, recording, and conducting interactive educational workshops for kids and adults. During a presentation Joseph shares his knowledge of the steel drum art form, explains the cultural history, and demonstrates various instruments that makes up a steel band. Participation is encouraged, as Joseph will provide enough shakers, rattles, and drums to invigorate all in attendance. Joseph’s music will invariably pique the interest of the listener and offer a warm and uplifting atmosphere.
