Kids Music Lessons & Workshops in Los Angeles
Dear Parent/Student: Choosing the right teacher, mentor, coach for you/your child is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Who we study with, learn from, and model can have great impact on ones life. First and foremost, I want you/your child to be comfortable knowing that I want you to succeed in a safe and nurturing environment. As a husband and father of two young children I understand the importance of this. I can assure you that you/your child’s learning will be met with a high standard of integrity when studying with me.
As a music educator, I hold a valid State of California Music Teaching Credential K-12, I have passed state and federal background checks to work with children in public, private, and juvenile hall systems, and I have extensive experience working with children and adults alike.
As a teacher, I have taught in elementary, middle, and high schools, as an adjunct faculty member at Wichita State University (Kansas), as a private music teacher, and through various arts organizations throughout the country conducting music workshops.
In addition to teaching, I also have an extensive amount of experience touring and recording with artists of various genres of music ranging from Caribbean, jazz, world music, rock, and even classical. As a result I feel that I am able to help students bridge the gap between the practice room and the stage.
I am enthusiastic to share my knowledge with my students to better position them for success, not only in music, but in life itself.
I look forward to working with you/your child,
Musically yours,
Joseph Peck
