The Caribbean Drum Circle is designed for children and adults alike to explore music as a language through interactive experiences using percussion instruments (Tamboo-Bamboo, Hand Drums, Steel Drums, Shakers, Cowbells), call and response, Indian speaking syllables, and movement.
This event is sponsored by the Long Beach Public Library
Learn about the origins of the steel drum in this Caribbean Drum Circle program and join in to play a percussion instrument as a part of a Calypso band.
